Pneumatic / Solid Wheels

Our wheel options are nylon, black rubber and polyurethane on cast iron. We can supply wheels with bearings suitable for light loads or where low rolling friction is not important. The bearing options are roller ball, needle roller and sealed one side ball bearings

The wheels we supply have, fully fabricated steel frames to provide optimum strength and durability, load capacities up to 180 kg and various bearing options to suit operating conditions.

Castors

At Catfords we offer a very adaptable and wide range of castors available in either swivel, fixed with bolt hole configurations. We carry a metric and imperial selection in 8 different sizes. 85mm, 100mm, 125mm, 160mm, 6in, 8in, 10in, and 12in. We also have pneumatic and cushioned solid rubber tyred castors. These castors are a benefit when there is a high degree of impact.

Our Commercial range of castors provides strong and reliable products. Our selection ranges from light to medium for a variety of industrial applications. All of our castors are made from heavy-duty gauge steel and are zinc plated. This helps to provide good corrosion resistance under normal working conditions.

Our swivel frames have a highly advanced ballrace system that prevents ball bearing from becoming dislodged. A selection of castors come with foot operated wheel locks. All of our castors have standard sized top plates.

All castor wheels use the widely adopted international standard sized top plates. This maximizes the compatibility of the castors for easy replacement and upgrading. By using ISO measurements the castors will retro-fit to all standard sized equipment.
