Why risk injury to your workmen? When lifting, always use a Catford Loading Crane. We manufacture both front mount and rear mount loading cranes. These can be installed on both utes and trucks. They are easy to use. The front mount crane has four stages 500, 400, 300 and 200 kg and the rear mount has three stages 500, 400, and 300 kg. If you purchase the crane with electro-hydraulic 12 or 24v power pack, the main lift ram is operated by the power pack. The other option is to use a hand jack to operate the main lift arm. The telescopic boom is manually adjustable on both models. The cranes are designed to use minimal tray space when not in use and the slew rotates through 360 deg. A drop leg stabiliser jack is an optional extra.

Our chains and components are manufactured from high-grade alloy steel. When you are looking for chain and chain accessories, Catfords is the place to look; our range of chain encompasses mild steel black chain in long link & regular link and galvanized chain in regular link, grade 70 transport or drag chain, high alloy lifting chain. Accessories that we stock include lifting hooks and links, snatch or pulley blocks, dee and bow shackles, wire rope, wire rope clamps and thimbles, lifting eye bolts, snap hooks, quick links, turnbuckles, loadbinders and ratchet loadbinders, galvanized swivels, grab hooks and claw hooks for transport chain, cargo truck winches with strapping, ratchet tie-downs, girder trolley and hand pullers.
Chain blocks are one of the main products we carry and they are safe and reliable. They come in a variety of sizes and their bodies have strengthened ribs which protect the gears from impact and gives extra durability. The hand chain is calibrated and the sprocket wheel protected by a metal shell. This design helps avoid the chain twisting or flying off the sprocket when the wheel is in use. Other lifting systems include Chain lever hoists and wire rope hoists.
Need a winch? We stock a huge range of Jarrett winches for Industrial, marine, and agricultural. These winches meet Australian design specifications, have steel bearings and are zinc cobalt and powder coated. We can also supply a full range of spare parts for all of these winches. We have in stock 9 different Superwinches from the small 12V x 907kg single line pull to the bigger 12V 4082kg single line pull with either a switch on the winch or a hand held switch.
